Born and raised in Atlanta, Skylar Peterson's musical journey began early. After moving to South Florida, he attended conservatory, where he immersed himself in the arts, playing saxophone and clarinet in the school’s jazz ensemble and participating in musical theatre, where his passion for singing was ignited.

Skylar’s rich, velvety bass-baritone voice is mesmerizing, effortlessly gliding from resonant lows to powerful highs. A multilingual Classical Crossover artist, he infuses each performance with emotional depth and storytelling, forging a deep connection with his audience. In addition to his vocal prowess, Skylar is a skilled saxophonist, adding a distinctive flair to his romantic renditions of timeless repertoire. His music blends the charm of crooning with the sophistication of classical crossover, creating a sound that captivates listeners across genres. Influenced by artists like Norm Lewis, whose stage presence inspired Skylar’s theatricality; David Phelps, whose vocal precision shaped his technique; and Barbra Streisand, whose emotional depth taught him the power of vulnerability, Skylar’s performances are both technically impressive and deeply heartfelt.

Skylar’s performance schedule has included fundraisers, galas, and events at high profile venues such as The Colony Hotel Palm Beach, The Breakers Hotel Palm Beach, and The Fisher Center. Currently collaborating with a Grammy Award-winning team led by multi-platinum, Billboard #1 producer Olivier Bassil (David Foster), he is bringing fresh, innovative music to the Classical Crossover genre. Since debuting his original singles “Mirage,” “The Feel of You,” and “Masquerade,” he has amassed over 700k streams and consistently averages 30k monthly listeners, building a global fanbase and capturing the attention of the music industry. His newest single, “I Silenced My Heart (Callé Mi Corazón),” was crafted with Latin Grammy winner Edgar Cortázar (Luis Miguel) and Oscar winner Vanessa Campagna.
